  • Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place
Daily Dosage
  • Give with food to maximize absorption. If the pet is currently anorexic, giving with small amount of peanut butter or cream cheese (if diet allows) will be enough to help with absorption.
  • If you decide to puncture the capsule, VRS recommends ensuring the entire contents are expressed and mixed into the food or other treats. Ideally, the contents should be consumed within two hours of opening the capsule.

    Lowers Liver Enzymes

    One of our dogs suffers from high liver enzymes. After 4 months liver enzymes score was down significantly. Because of dog's health issues his liver enzymes will most likely never be normal, but our vet expects the score to keep coming down. Hepatic TruBenefits is money well spent.

    Helped My Dog

    My dog's liver results were high because she is on chemotherapy so my vet suggested she take Hepato to help and it did. At the next blood test here results were back in the normal range.

    Very poor quality

    I recently ordered 3 bottles of this supplement. When they arrived, it appeared that one bottle was ok, but the other two were melted from the summer heat. I did call VRS, and the two bottles were replaced. As I started to use the third bottle that I originally thought was ok, I realized the capsules at the bottle were damaged as well. I did not call back as I figured I should have asked for a full replacement to begin with. Even prior to this incident, the capsules are inconsistent. Some are very hard to pierce and squeeze out for my small dog who is too small to take the whole capsule. At my next vet appointment, I plan to ask about alternatives to treat my pup’s liver issues.
