  • Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place
Daily Dosage
  • Give with food to maximize absorption. If the pet is currently anorexic, giving with small amount of peanut butter or cream cheese (if diet allows) will be enough to help with absorption.
  • If you decide to puncture the capsule, VRS recommends ensuring the entire contents are expressed and mixed into the food or other treats. Ideally, the contents should be consumed within two hours of opening the capsule.

    High liver blood count

    Hi, Chief was placed on this supplement due to liver count over 2000 on his blood work. In depth Diagnostic testing (ultra sound) revealed sludge in his Gallbladder. He was placed on medication for the Gallbladder while keeping him on Hepato but administered every other day instead of daily. To this point his bloobcount hadnt been retested. With that being said, clinically he shows no signs of anything being wrong, back to his playful self. I can update you after he is retested.

    Soft gel liver pills

    I give this three stars because my cat is petite and she can't swallow these large soft gel pills. I have to soak one in a little bit of water to soften it and then break it open. I then mix in her liquid steroids and a few drops of water. I then have to use a syringe and pull it up with that. She absolutely hates to get this medicine. She cries and clings to me because she doesn't want to get this medicine. I then have to hold her and wipe her mouth for several minutes because she has a lot of drool coming out of her mouth. She runs from me as soon as I release her. It's not easy to pick her up when she knows it's time for her medicine. I've been told that a liquid is in the works, it can't come soon enough!

    Limping has stopped

    Great product, but need a different type of formula

    This product is great. It's helped my dog immensely with her liver, but we need Hepato in something other than a capsule. My dog is a senior (15); she is not swallowing this plastic-like capsule every day. I cut it open for her and take the gel out. If there was a powder or non-capsule gel that I could get for her instead, I would in a heartbeat. That's the only reason this product isn't 5 stars.
