Happy, age 16
Our wonderful Labradoodle, “Happy”, is 16 years old this year, and she has been healthy, except for recurring bad pain in her hip and life-long skin itchiness and skin and ear yeast problems. When we took her to our veterinarian at the end of 2012, we were so worried because she couldn’t put any weight on her back leg, and this was the worst we’d ever seen her feel. She went on a course of anti-inflammatories and pain killers for a week or so, and also, we started her on VRN Canine Omega Benefits liquid every day (2 pumps in her food) and after about a month or so, she is like a different dog.
