Louie, age 5

Our five-year old Bombay mix cat was diagnosed with feline herpes and an auto-immune disorder by a veterinarian dermatologist. Louie had been treated by his regular vet for loss of skin tissue / pigment as well as an abscess with steroids and other medications for over a year with limited results. She recommended Louie see a specialist.

The dermatologist confirmed the initial diagnosis with further testing and recommended non-aggressive treatment as a first course of action. This pleased us. No blood high-powered steroids as well as continuous blood tests He put Louie on VRS Feline Omega Fish Oil liquid formula. We put 1.5 pumps on his first meal each day. We also now feed him no-carb food exclusively. Louie\’s fish oil treatment began in June. The abscess in gone and his nose has showed steady, continuous healing.

The large red/pink/white areas on his nose is gone and the natural black nose colorization is slowly returning.

We are confident that the treatment is helping Louie and thank VRS and our veterinarians for the care that they have given our family pet.
