ADULT MAINTENANCE:

FEEDING GUIDE:

Average cats should be fed 15-25 kilocalories per pound of ideal body weight. Most cats require a very small amount of food to maintain their body weight. Typically, kittens from 8 weeks to 6 months of age will need about double the number of calories per body weight as an adult. At and after 6 months, the adult feeding guidelines can be followed. Pregnant queens will need approximately 30-50% more calories during the 2 months of gestation, and during lactation will require approximately double the adult recommendations. Talk to your veterinarian about the appropriate amount of calories basedon your cat’s unique lifestyle.
